The Climate Choir Movement began in Bristol in 2022 and now has choirs in many cities in the UK and abroad. See our website for more information.
The Movement has a collective ethos where everyone is involved in making it thrive. A core group coordinate major activities whilst local choirs arrange their own events, inviting other nearby choirs to join in if they wish.
Our choir is part of the, now international, Climate Choir Movement.
We rehearse together at St Benet's Chapel, 327 Mile End Rd, Bethnal Green. St Benet's is within the Queen Mary University Campus. See directions below.
Our Choir Leader is Sally Davies and our Administrator is Sarah Montgomery.
We often sing in parts (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) and learn original music. Everyone is welcome but it helps if you can sing in tune!
Email us with any questions you have: london@climatechoirmovement.org
We rehearse in the Chapel and have access to the lounge and kitchen for hot drinks. Please bring a pound or two , which we collect and donate to St Benet's for use of the space.
Our next (in person) rehearsals - to be confirmed
Mile End and Stepney Green Stations are a few minutes walk away. We recommend NOT using Sat Nav (Google Maps) with the postcode - you may get lost in the campus. The Chapel is opposite "Sainsburys Local" on Mile End Road.
You can find the list of all the songs, including the current repertoire, along with audio tracks, music and lyrics on the Climate Movement Website HERE.
